2021 Hyundai Kona Power & Handling

As mentioned above, the 2021 Hyundai Kona comes with three available engine options. The first of which is the default engine. This is a 2.0-Liter Inline-4 cylinder engine producing 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque while getting an average of 30 MPG. The second engine option is a more powerful 1.6L turbocharged I-4 kicking out 175 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. Last up is a plug-in electric motor. This pushes out 201 horsepower and 291 lb-ft of torque while maintaining an average of 130 MPG. All Kona engines are linked to a smooth 6-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, while all-wheel drive is optional.

2021 Chevrolet Trax Power & Handling

The 2021 Chevy Trax has one engine option. This is a turbocharged 1.4L I-4 kicking out 138 horsepower, 148 lb-ft of torque, and providing an average of 27 MPG. 2021 Hyundai Kona Features & Design

The Hyundai Kona has been redesigned for the 2021 model year. These upgrades include a refreshed exterior design with a new front fascia and new subtle details sprinkled around the vehicle's exterior. Inside, the Kona comes standard with a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto capability, keyless entry, 60/40 folding rear seats, cloth seats, and driver assists like lane keep assist and automatic emergency braking. Available features on higher trim levels include heated front seats, leather seating, a power sunroof, remote start, premium audio, automatic climate control, blindspot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, and much more.

2021 Chevrolet Trax Features & Design

While the Kona has six main trim levels, the Trax only has two.
