Under the hood of the Sonata Hybrid, drivers will find a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that comes paired with an AC permanent-magnet synchronous electric motor to produce a total system output of 192 horsepower. This hybrid powertrain is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The base Blue trim gets an EPA estimated 54 miles to the gallon on the highway while the SEL and Limited reach up to 51 mpg on the highway.

What kind of features are offered for the Hyundai Sonata?

There are three powertrains offered for the 2021 model year. The base Blue trim comes outfitted with features like cloth upholstery, Apple and Android smartphone integration, 16-inch alloy wheels, an 8-inch touchscreen, and dual-zone automatic climate control.
