What are the trim levels offered with the 2020 Santa Fe?

Hyundai offers a great number of resources with a choice between three different trim levels which establish a different base set of features. The stock Santa Fe SE is the baseline trim level, equipped with key features such as automatic headlights, variable intermittent windshield wipers that adjust their rate of operation accordingly, tinted rear windows, split-folding fold-flat rear seating, standard air conditioning, a tilt/telescoping steering wheel, power driver's window with one-touch auto up/down, and a full infotainment system that integrates smartphone connectivity with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Upgrading to the SEL trim will bring even more upgraded features including foglights, heated power windows, heated front seating, keyless push-button start, and an adaptive drive-mode select system. With the SEL trim, upgrading to the turbocharged engine also brings in LED exterior lights, LED turn signals on the side mirrors, sound-dampening front and side glass to reduce outside noise, roof rails, and a hands-free liftgate. The Limited trim level is Hyundai's highest level trim offered with the Santa Fe, bringing in impressive technology such as LED headlights coming standard, with dark chrome exterior design elements, leather interior upholstery set, ventilated front seats, power-adjustable lumbar front seating with memory settings, larger 8-inch touchscreen display, an advanced heads-up driver display, and more.

What powertrains are being brought in?

Under the hood of the 2020 Santa Fe you will find a choice between two different powertrains; the standard engine you will find in each Santa Fe is a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine that can produce up to 185 horsepower and 178 lb-ft of torque. This engine works well in this SUV being capable of achieving 29 miles per gallon of fuel while on the highway and towing up to 2,000 lbs of cargo capacity. Upgrading to the SEL and Limited trims will bring an optional upgrade to a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that pushes out an improved 235 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. With this extra power production and distribution throughout the Santa Fe, the SUV is rated to tow up to 3,500 lbs.

What technology has been brought in to increase safety?

The Santa Fe comes equipped with a strong core of safety features, bringing driver assist technology and improved standard features. Coming standard with the 2020 Santa Fe are features such as electronic stability control, a traction control system with brake assist, tire pressure monitoring system, vehicle stability system, forward collision warning that applies brakes automatically in case of emergency, lane keep assist system, hill start assist and a full advanced airbag system with additional side airbags. At higher trim levels or as optional features, Hyundai also brings in a list of additional safety and security features including 360-surround view camera, rear-proximity sensors to assist with parking, oncoming traffic detection paired with automated door locks to help reduce being blindsided as you are exiting the vehicle, hill-descent brake control system, and more.
